Reiki
Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. The word Reiki comes from the two Japanese characters – ‘Rei’ meaning universal spirit and ‘Ki’ meaning life force energy or vital life force. Reiki is a form of spiritual practice and alternative therapy for the treatment of physical, emotional, and mental ‘dis-ease’, developed in the 1920’s by Mikao Usui, a student of Japanese Shinto, Kiko, Japanese Tendai Buddhist texts and Taoism. Usui studied, fasted, and meditated to seek an understanding of life – during his quest, Usui received a powerful form of energy, which is now known as Reiki, understanding the importance of healing the spirit as well as the mind and harnessing the incredible power of the body, to heal itself.
Reiki is a safe and non-invasive ‘hands on’ healing therapy, where the hands are gently placed on or over the body, to enhance vitality and promote the body’s innate ability to heal. Subtle and yet powerful, Reiki replenishes and restores the energy flow and balance of the body. There are times that our energy can become stuck, blocked, stagnant, in excess or deficient, which, in turn, affects our physical, emotional, and mental health and overall wellbeing, manifesting as dis-ease, illness, imbalance, lethargy, disharmony and dysregulation of the nervous system.
Reiki has been shown to reduce stress, pain, depression, and anxiety in preliminary medical studies. It can help to resolve emotional distress, promote better sleep, relaxation and bring about an overall sense of wellbeing. It is a wonderful complimentary therapy for chronic conditions and can be used alongside conventional medical treatments. Reiki can help us to release deep rooted patterns, behaviours and help us to re-connect with ourselves on a much deeper level as we learn to let go of all that no longer serves us. Simple and effective and yet deeply powerful, Reiki is a wonderful way to explore our inner and outer realms.
A complete Reiki treatment lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and is performed fully clothed - you can lie down or be seated for this session. Held in a warm and cosy space, with soft blankets, soothing music, and heavenly fragrances - you are nurtured and held during your treatment, with everything you need to be supported and comfortable during our time together. As you relax and rest, I will gently place my hands on or over the body in a series of positions, working intuitively around the body, with focus on specific areas or chakras (always making sure you are comfortable), according to your needs. To ensure your safety and comfort, I generally remain silent so that I remain present, focused, and grounded during your treatment, ensuring you receive the very best healing with integrity and respect.
Individual treatments are very welcome. I do recommend a block of three to five sessions initially, generally taken one to two weeks apart, reducing the frequency as and when needed. We will work together to find a treatment plan and budget to suit your needs, if you feel that finances may be a barrier to receiving at this time and you are in need, please do get in touch to discuss options to support you.

Crystal Therapy
Crystal Therapy is a holistic and natural therapy that brings together a fusion of shamanic techniques, energy medicine and the intelligence of the rock, crystal, and mineral kingdom, to create a powerful treatment that brings insight, wisdom, and deep healing on many levels.
Humans have worked with and revered this most ancient kingdom for millennia –from adornment, jewellery, tv’s, time keeping, navigation, building monuments, homes and cities and carving statues to bringing us joy in the landscapes – as we climb mountains, walk cliff faces and comb beaches – our evolution is inextricably linked. There are the minerals in our nutrition, our medicines and in our bodies, which are said to be ‘crystalline’ in nature – certainly in our bones and teeth! We often find comfort and joy in the beauty of gemstones and crystals – whether a quartz found on a beach to ultra sparkly bling…we are naturally drawn to their mysterious nature and luminescence. Perhaps you have a special pebble that brings you comfort, maybe a favourite crystal necklace that brings you a sense of safety or a sparkly diamond ring that symbolises love and commitment – if you do, you are already working with the energy of these beings.
The Rock, crystal and mineral kingdom is the oldest kingdom, containing the original wisdom of the planet over billions of years, formed under immense pressures and witness to our evolution and history – how cool is that? In animist traditions, in terms of our ancestors, these are our most ancient, the original ‘beings’ from which life took root. Each has its own individual properties and teachings to bestow upon the receiver – are you open to their wisdom?
Crystal Therapy works deeply on the energetic levels of the body, which, at times, can become stuck, blocked, stagnant, in excess or deficient in energy. This, in turn, affects our physical, emotional, and mental health and wellbeing, manifesting as dis-harmony and dis-ease, illness, imbalance, lethargy and dysregulation of the nervous system. We will work with a range of crystals, minerals, rocks, and other gifts from nature, to help unblock, re-balance, restore, clear, cleanse and direct energy to where it is needed the most, gently supporting the body to heal in a therapeutic way.
A complete crystal treatment lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and is performed fully clothed, you can lie down or be seated for this session. Held in a warm and cosy space, with soft blankets, soothing music, and heavenly fragrances - you are nurtured and held during your treatment, with everything you need to be supported and comfortable during our time together. As you relax and rest, I will gently place specially selected crystals both on and around the body, working intuitively and with channelled guidance, with focus on specific areas, chakras, and subtle bodies, according to your needs. To ensure your safety and comfort, I generally remain silent so that I stay present, focused, and grounded during your treatment, ensuring you receive the very best healing with integrity and respect.

Sound Therapy & Sound Medicine
Of all the therapies I love, this is in my top 3! Working with sound, specialist instruments, voice, and music - played in a gentle and therapeutic way, to bring deep healing, release and greater health and wellbeing. You will be gently bathed and immersed in a beautifully crafted soundscape, nourished, and soothed by the sounds of the gong, singing bowls, drum, chimes, and eclectic instruments from around the world. There will be etheric and healing mantra, incantations, and vocals – interwoven with the sounds of nature and far off distant lands, connecting with the voices of our ancestors and speaking to your soul. I incorporate a fusion of eastern and western traditions, bringing in elements of my studies and training in Yoga, Buddhism, South and North American traditions, and Shamanic and Animist traditions of the Northern Hemisphere – with Celtic, Sami and Siberian influences.
Each session is unique to your needs, intuitively designed to support your body, mind, and spirit to that you receive all that you need. Sound based treatment has been shown to help reduce pain, aid sleep, improve mobility, reduce muscle pain and stiffness, increase blood circulation, reduce blood pressure as well as reduce stress and symptoms of anxiety and depression – helping us to achieve a deeper state of rest and relaxation and therefore increasing overall health and wellbeing.
Humans have used sound and music to connect, celebrate, heal, and affect mental and emotional states for millennia. It is one of our inherent traits and birthrights, along with dance, used to invoke different states of consciousness, to bring community together, to soothe each other or to release energy – most of us have experienced the agony and ecstasy that music and sound can evoke. The first sound we hear, it is said, is our mother’s heartbeat…we see how a baby can be soothed with gentle and rhythmic sounds and the first instrument many of us had was a rattle! Working with sound as a tool for healing and transformation can be seen in cultures around the world – the hymns of the church, the chanting and mantra in temples, healing songs of indigenous tribes, keening and wailing at funeral rites, keeping the beat of the drum at war or working songs for morale and productivity…sound has always been a way to express, motivate and free ourselves and a way of us to make sense of the world and our experiences.
A typical treatment lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and is performed fully clothed, you can lie down or be seated for this session, held in a warm and cosy space, with soft blankets and heavenly fragrances - you are nurtured and held during your treatment, with everything you need to be supported and comfortable during our time together. As you relax and rest, I will gently and intuitively work with a variety of instruments, sound, and vocals, placed on or around the body, using techniques for cleansing, clearing, extraction and infusion, helping to balance deficient or excess energies, bringing harmony & support to your whole being. You may find yourself drift into a deep state of relaxation and rest, whilst the body goes to work, bringing forth it’s innate power of self-healing. To ensure your safety and comfort, I remain present, focused, and grounded during your treatment, ensuring you receive the very best healing with integrity and respect.
Individual treatments are very welcome. I do recommend a block of three to five sessions initially, generally taken one to two weeks apart, reducing the frequency as and when needed. We will work together to find a treatment plan and budget to suit your needs, if you feel that finances may be a barrier to receiving at this time and you are in need, please do get in touch to discuss options.

Deep Tissue Massage
A deep tissue massage is similar to a Swedish massage but is much deeper and goes further and is ideal for athletes, runners and those recovering from injury and can be beneficial for those with fibromyalgia and lower back pain – as well as those looking for a deeper and firmer pressure. It targets the muscles, tendons and fascia and uses many of the same movements of a Swedish massage but with much further pressure, which can, at times, be uncomfortable - in order to reach the deeper layers of tissue. Special techniques are employed, using fingers, fists, forearms and even elbows, to reach and stretch the deep tissue – facilitating healing by releasing contracted areas of muscle and tissue, helping to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation and stimulate lymphatic drainage.
We will start with a consultation to discuss any problem areas and the treatment may be full body or may focus on a specific area. We begin with a more traditional Swedish massage to relax and warm up the muscles before I begin to work more deeply, massaging layer by layer and gradually applying more pressure to any problem areas. Communication is important to ensure that I apply the right level of pressure and you are happy with the level of discomfort you may experience – which may change depending on the area worked – so please do let me know if it is too much!
There may be some level of soreness following the massage, this is completely normal, and I will offer you ways to help relieve this, as well as some complementary practices that you can do at home to support and maintain your recovery.
A typical treatment lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. During the session, I will invite you to remove items of jewellery and clothing in order to access the skin, however, you are welcome to remain fully clothed or to undress as you feel comfortable - you will be covered with a towel throughout the treatment, apart from the area I am working on – please do let me know your needs to that I can ensure you have everything you need to feel supported, safe and comfortable during our time together. During the treatment, I remain present, focused, and grounded, ensuring that you receive the very best healing with integrity and respect - I will check in regularly to make sure you are comfortable.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a gentle form of massage, typically used to relieve painful swelling and lymphedema, which can often affect people post-surgery or because of disease, injury or may be developmental. Using specialist techniques, this massage aims to move lymph (fluid retained in tissues after your cardiovascular system sends blood to tissues and organs) from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling.
The lymphatic system is an important part of your immune system and is a group of organs, vessels, and tissues, responsible for draining the fluid (lymph) that has leaked from blood vessels, into the tissues, and empties it back into the bloodstream via the lymph nodes. The Lymphatic System is the body’s ‘sewerage system’ which keeps fluid levels in our body in balance, removing waste and toxins and defending the body against infection. Itis important for the optimal functioning of our general and specific immune responses and plays an important role in the absorption of fats from the intestine. Lymphatic system organs include your bone marrow, thymus, spleen, and lymph nodes.
Conditions that benefit from this type of massage are rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic venous insufficiency, Lipoedema, and lymphedema as well as cancer and cancer treatments that involve the removal of lymph nodes. This massage is generally safe for everyone but may not be recommended if you have a heart condition, kidney failure, blood clots or infection. There is also a medical review that shows that lymphatic drainage massage can help to relieve the symptoms of stiffness and depression in those experiencing fibromyalgia.
Unlike typical massages, this technique is very gentle as we work on the surface level of the skin, as the lymph vessels are just under the skin – so there is no friction, kneading, tapping or percussion like you would experience in a ‘classic’ massage. This gentle ‘stroking’ motion, combined with compression ‘pumps’ help to move the fluid through the system. This is a really delightful massage and clients often fall asleep, feeling soothed and cared for.
A typical treatment lasts 60 minutes, held in a warm and cosy space, with soothing music and heavenly fragrances whilst you are nurtured and held during your treatment, I will ensure you have everything you need to be supported and comfortable during our time together. During the session, I will invite you to remove items of jewellery and clothing in order to access the skin, however, you are welcome to remain fully clothed or to undress as you feel comfortable - you will be covered with a towel throughout the treatment, apart from the area I am working on – please let me know your needs to that I can ensure you have everything you need to feel supported, safe and comfortable during our time together. During the treatment, I generally work in silence so that I remain present, focused, and grounded, ensuring that you receive the very best healing with integrity and respect - I will check in regularly to make sure you are comfortable.

Indian Head Massage
Ahh, my most favourite massage! Deeply relaxing and re-invigorating and very accessible, Indian Head Massage is performed seated and fully clothed, with movements focused on the head, face, neck, shoulders, and upper back. Become immersed in soothing music and delightful fragrances, as I gently massage, stretch and sooth away your tension, aches and pains and invite you to some much-needed respite and relaxation. Sessions can be deeply relaxing or more stimulating, depending on your needs, you will leave feeling refreshed, renewed, and spacious as you float into your day.
Indian Head Massage is an ancient practice, rooted in India and practiced for over thousands of years as part of the system of Ayurveda, the ‘sister science of yoga’ which focuses on nutrition, lifestyle, cyclical wisdom, constitution, and self-care. Massage has always been an integral part of Indian life and Indian Head Massage was originally developed by women as a means of self-care, bonding, honouring and affection. It likely originated much further back in our evolution through grooming practices as a means of bonding the group and keeping healthy and clean – we see this reflected in the animal kingdom in many species, most especially our distant ancestors, the primates.
There are so many benefits to this massage, on the physical, emotional, mental, psychological, and spiritual levels – a truly ‘whole body’ massage. Using light to firm pressure (according to your needs and wishes), various techniques are applied using long strokes, kneading, rolling, stretching, friction, tapping, focusing on the head, face, neck, shoulders, arms, and upper back. If you like, I can use oils, waxes, or lotions to soothe the skin, nourish the hair and relax your mind, if you would like me to work directly on the skin.
There are some incredible benefits to this massage, it can help to prevent migraines, headaches, and back pain, releasing deep tension around the face, head, neck, and shoulders. Deeply relaxing, it can relieve insomnia, restlessness and relieve symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress. It detoxifies the body by stimulating lymphatic drainage, renewing energy levels, and helping reduce fatigue. Indian Head Massage is wonderful for the skin, promoting hair growth and improving circulation as well as boosting memory, bringing clear thought, relieving mental fog, and soothing a restless mind.
A typical treatment lasts 45 to 60 minutes, held in a warm and cosy space, with soothing music and heavenly fragrances whilst you are nurtured and held during your treatment, I will ensure you have everything you need to be supported and comfortable during our time together. During the session, I will invite you to remove items of jewellery from the neck and ears. You are welcome to remain fully clothed or to undress as you feel comfortable - you will be covered with a towel throughout the treatment, apart from the area I am working on – please let me know your needs to that I can ensure you feel safe and comfortable. Reflexology
Heaven for your feet and ultimate stress buster!!! Reflexology, also known as Zone Therapy, is a type of intuitive massage therapy that uses the application of pressure to specific points on the feet (although Reflexology can also be applied to the hands and ears), generally using fingers and thumbs, to stimulate Qi, our vital life force energy. Through touch, we are able to calm the body’s nervous system, promoting rest and relaxation and bringing about a deeper sense of peace. Reflexology can help to reduce pain, stress, fatigue, anxiety and helps to improve mood and general wellbeing, all whilst boosting the immune system, aiding recovery from illness, back issues, and injury, boosting fertility, improving digestion, better sleep and correcting hormonal imbalances. Reflexology can be used as a complimentary medicine alongside conventional medicine to help manage symptoms and provide relief and can be especially supportive for those experiencing emotional and physical pain caused by cancer.
Reflexology is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, with the belief that Qi flows through every person and, when we are stressed, have experienced trauma or adverse circumstances, or have suffered damage to the body, the flow of Qi becomes blocked. This, in turn, can cause imbalance and disharmony in the body, which can further lead to illness – Reflexology aims to keep Qi flowing through the body, keeping it balanced and disease free. Different body parts correspond to different pressure points on the body, known as acupressure points. In Reflexology, we use maps of these points in the feet to determine where to apply pressure - the touch of the practitioner sends energy flowing through the body until it reaches the area in need of healing. Just the sensation of being cared for and touched can be immensely healing and transformational – this treatment is incredibly relaxing, and it is completely normal to fall asleep.
A typical treatment lasts 45 to 60 minutes and is practiced fully clothed, apart from the feet, you will be softly wrapped in a blanket, with comfy cushions, soothing music and heavenly fragrances whilst you are nurtured and held during your treatment, please let me know your needs to that I can ensure you have everything you need to feel supported, safe and comfortable during our time together. We will start with a relaxation practice and a divine foot massage, to warm up the feet and to help you settle and fully let go. During the treatment, I will check in to make sure you are comfortable with the pressure, you are welcome to ask for more or less – it is possible that you may experience sensation elsewhere in the body, which is normal – you will definitely feel very relaxed and calm.
I remain present, focused, and grounded, ensuring that you receive the very best healing with integrity and respect - I will check in regularly to make sure you are comfortable.
Individual treatments are very welcome. I do recommend blocks of three to five sessions if working with a specific issue, generally taken one to two weeks apart, reducing the frequency as and when needed. We will work together to find a treatment plan and budget to suit your needs, if you feel that finances may be a barrier to receiving at this time and you are in need, please do get in touch to discuss options.
